They are cheaper to purchase. Ostrich Drabs are Comparatively wide but can be unvarying in width. You obviously get more pieces in the 1lb. Drab feathers are easier to shape, and arrange. Drabs are ideal for obtaining a curved symmetrical centerpiece. Ostrich Drabs are identifiable by having a taupe coloured and thinner spine. White Drab Feathers also tend to be a tinge of off white, which does go unnoticed, unless you have them near bleached white ostrich feathers. Insert at a 45 degree angle, if your spines are too short, attach floral wire, to your feather, and utilise floral pins to restrain in permanent position if necessary.
